Bojana Dimitrijević (1971) is a Serbian costume designer, fashion designer, painter, educator and cultural worker. She graduated in 1996 from the Department of Costume and Contemporary Clothing at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade. She has been a member of ULUPUDS since 2004 and has held the status of an independent artist since 2005.
Costume Design
She has spent the largest part of her decades-long career working as a costume designer for film, television, and theatre projects. Her notable credits include feature films and television series such as Children of Kozara (Deca Kozare, 2023), The Wolves' Berries (Vučje bobice, 2022), Indian Summer (Miholjsko leto, 2024), Heroes of Our Time (Junaci našeg doba), and The Case of the Bošković Family (Slučaj porodice Bošković).
Bojana has also designed costumes for major television entertainment shows, including Star Academy (Operacija trijumf), Big Brother (Veliki brat), Your Face Sounds Familiar (Tvoje lice zvuči poznato), and Dancing with the Stars (Ples sa zvezdama), alongside numerous commercials and music videos since 2005. Her theatrical work spans productions at KPGT and the National Theatre in Belgrade, including an award-winning children's play "Party on the Green Corner".
Painting & Fashion
As a painter, she is mainly focused on contemporary abstract painting in watercolor, oil on canvas, and mixed media techniques. She has held five solo exhibitions and participated in more than twenty group exhibitions and art colonies both in Serbia and abroad. She is also the founder and artistic director of the Greek-Serbian Art Colony, organized annually since 2021.
Her fashion design career includes creating numerous collections of children's clothing and knitted garments for prominent regional fashion houses. Additionally, she is an active educator, running art workshops and preparing students for enrollment at art faculties and secondary art schools.
